Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of AnswerLens (the "Service"), operated by AnswerLens ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

AnswerLens is an AI visibility monitoring platform. It queries AI systems (including but not limited to ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Google AI Overviews) to measure how your brand appears in AI-generated responses, tracks visibility scores over time, and surfaces recommendations to improve your brand's presence in AI search.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@answerlens.co if you suspect unauthorised access. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through our payment processor, Paddle. Prices are shown on the pricing page and may change with 30 days' notice. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not issue refunds for partial periods unless required by law. Free-tier accounts are provided as-is with no uptime guarantee.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to audit brands you do not own or have authorisation to represent.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its underlying infrastructure.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.

You retain ownership of any brand or content data you provide. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process that data solely to operate and improve the Service. We do not sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle personal information.

The Service, its code, design, and content (excluding your data) are owned by AnswerLens and protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI engine outputs are inherently variable; we do not guarantee that audit results reflect any particular AI system's current or future behaviour. We are not affiliated with OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, Perplexity, or any other AI provider.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AnswerLens shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if your account is inactive for more than 12 months on a free plan. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email or in-product notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
